One of ‘Game of Thrones’ fiercest stars Maisie Williams has opened up about her sexuality in an interview with Nylon Magazine.

The 17-year-old says she is not eager to place a label on her sexuality, opting out of the rising number of labels for different iterations of sexual attraction.

“It’s quite a spontaneous thing for teenagers to be confused,” Williams tells Nylon.

There is a label for everything now, which is okay, because some people need labels.”

Williams says considering her own sexuality is not something that’s consumed her thoughts, adopting a more indifferent approach.

“I’ve never sat up and idea about my sexuality for hours. It’s like what Shailene Woodley said: I fall in love with personalities and not people or genders,” Williams said.

“Do what you want.”

Williams currently has a boyfriend she met at school, though no word whether her on screen persona, Arya, will have time to find romance amidst her training.

Maisie Williams has opened up about playing Arya and revealed that she thought the Game of Thrones character was queer.

For years Game of Thrones fans have speculated that Maisie Williams' character Arya is queer-coded. Throughout the show, Arya appears to show no interest in men and struggles to fit in with societal norms. As such, many LGBTQ+ fans have seen themselves in Arya. However, in season 7, Arya has sex with Gendry and it's seemingly revealed that she is in fact straight.

Now, Maisie Williams has addressed Arya's sexuality and let slip that she actually played Arya thinking that she was queer.

The 19-year-old Bristol native covers the May issue of Nylon, where which she gets very candid about virtual dating and sexuality.

Her current crush, she reveals, is a "really sweet" guy she knows from school. "I feel like I'm in love right now," she says, "but I don't know what I am going to feel enjoy down the line. That's why I am courteous of closed-minded about marriage -- I don't even know if I desire to get married."

When it comes to sexual orientation, she's more open minded.
