Peer-to-peer support team for individuals living as LGBT – lesbian, male lover, bisexual, transgender, or questioning.

Many LGBTQ individuals experience negative mental health issues due to the prejudice and other biases they tackle . Research suggests that gay people are at higher risk for depression, anxiety, and addiction or substance abuse.

Without mental health we cannot be healthy. It is our hope that LGBTQ individuals find LGBTribe to be a harmless outlet for them to discuss these challenges and find a sense of community online.

Members of our LGBT endorse group will have access to the latest in social network technology including a dedicated activity stream, forum and chat room. In addition members can participate in the larger wellness challenge through our inspirational wellness tools: wellness tracker, friend reminders, mood mapping and kudos.

This 50+ support group is a dynamic gathering engineered for individuals over the age of 50 who want to explore fresh activities, learn fresh skills, and enjoy camaraderie.

Through a variety of engaging events and classes provided by Tidewater Arts Outreach, members can stay active, explore new passions, and construct lasting friendships in a fun and supportive atmosphere. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others while embracing personal development and shared experiences.

Open to adults who distinguish as or are questioning being on the asexual and/or aromantic spectrums.

We dream to provide an reachable place for our group to connect, support one another, and talk about our successes, difficulties, joys, and struggles as Ace and Aro people.

Currently, we offer one support conference a month, along with a few social events like board game nights, holiday parties, park walks, museum tours, and bookstore visits.
